Suruli Cave Temple has been transforming towards a pilgrim destination from the past few years. The Tamil Nadu government has taken initiative to uplift the infrastructure of the temple and its premises. During Sabarimala (a famous South Indian pilgrim destination in Kerala) plenty of domestic devotees gathering here for worship. The festive seasons of Suruli Cave Temple are Chithirai Uthsav in April-May, Adi celebrations in July-August, Vaikunda Ekadashi, Thaipoosam, and Shivarathri, etc. The temple opens at 8 am and closes at 4 pm. The temple is situated amid the dense forest. The spiritual atmosphere of the temple and its premises are enthralling. The visitors are not allowed to enter the forest.
